IMATS 2013 Haul! Pt.2

Hey guys,

As said here with part 2 this being the IMATS haul to show you guys what I bought. I wanted to buy so much more but some stuff I wanted were sold out. Also some cosmetic brands did not attend like Nyx and Urban Decay I was disappointed. There's so much makeup around that you just don't know what to buy at least that's how I felt lol. So I bought things that I can include in my makeup kit for freelancing. I went a little BH cosmetic crazy buying six palettes the sixth is not shown because is was a gift for my mom. The palette was the Jenni Rivera palette with shadows and blush in one. Also went a little crazy at Crown Brush buying so many brushes , a spatula , a metal mixing plate, mascara disposables and a brush belt. Bought cherry lashes about 12  , glitter liners from Jcat beauty, brush cleaner and cosmetic sanitizer from BeautySoClean. Model in a bottle setting spray , eyeshadow helper from Lime Crime and a OCC lip tar. I'm so excited to play with all the stuff I got. Over all I had a good time at IMATS for sure next year I'm there. I will try my best to price everything I bought on each product . To see all the products up close and see the prices keep reading :)

IMATS 2013 Pt. 1

Hey guys,

I went to IMATS this past weekend in Pasadena, CA. IMATS stands for International Makeup Artist Trade Show for those who may not know. It's a convention for mainly makeup artists or makeup enthusiasts that can never get enough of makeup like me :). You tend to find new products from different new companies and even already known cosmetic companies like M.A.C. Pro , OCC and etc. It's mainly sponsered by Royal and Langnickel a well known makeup brushes brand and you get a pretty good discount at every booth but everybody is different. You can also take classes with well known artists, watch keynote speakers and other things. I may or may have not mentioned it to you guys don't remember but I'm here to share with you guys my experience and some pictures I took. It was a three day convention Friday for pro's , Saturday and Sunday for the public and I attended on Saturday the 19th I had bought my ticket for $40. You can attend 3 days or two or just one day like me .To be honest I really didn't take a lot of pictures instead I was really interested in shopping :). Even though I was really bummed because the things I had wanted to buy were sold out : /. I had a good time though looking at great makeup artists as well as their work. I also saw a lot of beauty guru's from you tube like Nicole Guerriero (nguerriero19), missglamorazzi, amarixe, Sophia( fashionista804) and a lot more I forgot :) it was great seeing them though I didn't take pictures with any. I was just so focused on shopping and looking around :). I did buy a lot of things which I will show in part 2 to not make this post so long. Now here are the pictures I took they are not the best but I tried :).

 Tons of brushes here.

Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer Dark Spot Correcting Review!

I did not purchase this product with my money. It was a price I won from Smashbox Facebook page awhile back from a contest/game.

Smashbox More Than Primer Dark Spot Correcting (Priced at $42) is one of the new additions to Smashbox primers. This primer is not your ordinary primer. Like all primers  it reduces the appearance of fine lines, minimizes pores giving a more smooth appearance and oil free. It not only is a primer but also skincare. Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer is a dark spot corrector as well. It is said to reduce dark spots, diminishes acne marks and improves radiance by brightening the skin. It can be applied under makeup as a regular primer or alone and even as a night cream for uneven skin tone. If applied twice a day it is said you can see improvements in just 4 weeks.

Packaging: It is the same as their other primers they carry. In a rectangular tube with pearl coloring outside and a black twisting cap. You squeeze to get the product out. Containing 1 fl. oz. of product.

Chin Glaze Holiday Set.

This is such a pretty holiday set from China Glaze. I purchased it from Sally's Beauty Supply for only 8.99 if you have their membership card. This set consists of four mini nail polishes of .325 fl oz. Their was more sets of two polishes of their regular size but didn't caught my attention. With this set I love all four colors.

MERRY BERRY- Is a merlot , berry kinda of color like an oxblood. So pretty!
RED SATIN- A regular red color kind of a cranberry red. Always a fave of mine to wear for the holidays.
WINTER HOLLY- Green and gold fine glitter.
GLITTER ALL THE WAY- Green, gold, purple and red glitter. Very festive. Love!

I'll be wearing these babies a lot this holiday maybe even after :D
What holiday sets have you purchased?
